Ok, let me have it...

Here’s the whole story, I had a 1970 E-type as well as other Jaguars so I sort of got use to wire wheels on a classy car. I think that the SC400/300 certainly is one of them. So that’s how I got interested in this evidently miss guided venture. The wheels on my car are the 5- spoke chrome from the factory 16”x7” which looks a lot like a Supra or a PT Cruiser, oh goodie. Also, it seems from the discussions and as many of you who have changed your wheels that the stock wheels and tires really don’t quite fit the wheel well in a way that complement the rest of the car. They look too small sort of like a Jensen-Healey.
I would really like to fill the wheels well up as much as I could, both diameter and width, and lower the car but unless there is a reasonable way to change the speedometer sensors to adjust to the larger diameter I’m limited. I don’t want to compromise the ride of the car with real low profile tires plus when the get too low I think it sort of looks getto and like it couldn’t perform well at speed or in cornering.

i hope clint dosn't mind me posting his sig but i'm only giving his car props.
Here is an sc400 with moda r6's 19x8's in front and 19x9's in the rear. I bought theses same wheels in the 18 inch staggered setup and i get lots of compliments. best of all you can get the moda's mounted on khumo supra ecsta 712 tires for a grand total of about 1600 dollars. not too expensive at all. YES they are not chrome but they are alot more simple to keep clean and they are pretty fly.
just an idea

SRQ, here's the Work Euroline TM1... You can post a thread in the Wheel Forum for similar designs and more details about this particular wheel. We have two or three wheel vendors here that carry Work wheels .
