It was NOT the intake manifold, rather than the exhaust manifold, sorry for the mix up.

Take off the exhaust manifold and take the picture again, that doesn't look normal.

wtf is that? There is no reason for drilling a hole or an oil leak in that location. Removing that manifold is going to be a biatch. Check out the corrosion around the bolt! Hopefully it's just residue or an illusion from the picture.

Looks to me like its just the gasket... The stock gaskets are multi layer and have small rivets that hold them together. Just my thoughts.

looks real dirty, clean that up a bit. Is it leaking oil because of the hole?

can you stick something in there to see how deep it is? hopefully just the gasket.
