Hi Guys,

Ive been having nightmares with my cluster and Im about ready to just buy another one. Problem is I have a 93 5speed and its almost impossible to find a 5speed cluster with 200k miles on it. My question is can I buy a cluster that was in a automatic SC and put it into my 5speed? thanks guys!

 

yes u can, i did it in mine for a lil before i fixed my 5 speed clutster, everything worked fine

 

i believe it would work. i couldent imagine them not being compatible, good luck, im sure everything will be fine.

 

Does it have to be off a 1993? I have a 1993 5 Speed Ive herd you can swap them out and put auto matic clusters in but Im not sure if the replacement one has to be the same year?

 

If you get a newer one, 97 or 98+ you may not be able to use the mpg digital read out portion of it
