you can buy cheap-o ones off eBay...or you can remove the ones off your doors and soak them in a solvent to remove the black. Then they are nice and chrome and you won't have to worry about the crappy stick on covers peeling off

me, I have a set of chrome door pillars that I never used. The previous owner handed them to me when I bought my car last year. I never installed them but they are slightly used. $35 bucks and they're yours.

Is he serious about the chrome pillars? Do you have some big 22" chrome rims to match?

I saw chrome on an SC once and it looked good. Usually it looks terrible though. You could probably sand down the stock pillars since they're chrome underneath.

I saw how it looks on SC's when I prepped the trim to be repainted back when the paint was chipping. If you remove the existing paint from it with a stripsol or similar products underneath the paint is actually stainless steel, so it's even better than chrome. But for the love of VIP Lexus don't do it, it doesn't look right on a coupe, maybe on a GS or LS it does, but not on SC's. And removing that trim is a PITA.
