Might have found my ac issue
I finally had some time to take the splash guards off of the bottom of my 300 and look for my ac leak. After a thorough search the only evidence of dye that I found was a thin line around the compressor seal. I hope thats not the problem but I can't find anything else. There isn't any oil dripping from the compressor, it looks very clean. Its definitely not what you would expect if a seal was bad, there also isn't any sound when it does run, its perfectly quiet.
Is this the typical presentation of a compressor leak and could it leak out a full charge in a few days and leave this little evidence behind ?
How bad is it to change the compressor ? It looks fairly easy, like it drops right out the bottom, is that true ?

do you have a pic of where it is leaking, shouldnt be too hard as everything is right there on the sc300. it is hard to say the compressor seal isnt leaking if u have followed the dye back to the seal.

I don't have a pic, you can only see it from the bottom. I'm not sure this is the leak, I've used uv dye before and where the leak was was covered in oil and gunk and there isn't any of that here. The bottom of the compressor is spotless, nothing like what a leaking seal normally looks like. Usually a leaking compressor seal will sling oil everywhere, which would then light up like Christmas with dye. I'm pretty stumped.
