The only reason I went 1jz is because:

-It was cheap. Engine/ Trans/ ECU $1250 shipped to my door. Everything has 32,000miles.

-Old 2jz and trans were in rough shape, rebuilding them to stock would have been expensive, and there would still be no turbos.

Front on the 1jz, but it makes all the right noises. I like it.

So in internet landz:

1jz=Meek little girly men who aren't ballers.

2jz=Engine of the Gods, you if you have one, you are God with a 15" *****. You will make One bajillion horsepowers, and anybody that doesn't agree can get syphilis.

Yeah, I think that's about right.

Oh, and I am literally laughing out loud!

Reading this entire thread is pretty funny.

So your are saying their is no need of replacing the water pump and oil pump?

Some of the posts on this thread are full of crap..
Someone call the wambulance. Maybe if I bought a SC400, Chaser 1JZ, $900 on the wiring alone and god knows how much else on other parts I'd be upset as well. But see just because you overspent money on your swap doesn't mean everyone else should. Just because you regret you're swap doesn't mean we all should wallow in the pit of regret with you.

2jzgte and r154 is your best bang for buck option, otherwise v160.
