Default Supermade Lenses?

I've searched the forums and Google and cannot find where to buy them. Can someone please post a link?

Also, I heard they're pretty expensive, are they really that good and are they worth it? Please post some pics and your opinion if you have them.

Consult "Scotturnot" he had some for sale a while ago, Not sure if he still has 'em, But talk to him, He's probably the expert around here about those things.

Now If I remember correctly, Supermade lenses were high beam assemblies made out of plastic right? I wonder why anyone would choose those over OEM glass (95+) ones?

They were made for the low beam headlights not the high beams iirc

They were clear plastic low beam covers that did not have any of the lines that the OEM ones have.

so, they are just expensive clear plastic overlays for the low beams? Just buy cheap ebay headlights from classifieds (plenty of people hate them), put in oven, separate, do a little trimming with a dremmel and silicone them to stock lights.

Oh! So that's what they look like! ^^^

Yeah, I never really saw the appeal in these lenses, OEM headlights were better IMO.

I wonder how hard it would be to reproduce those super made lenses or OEM lenses (Since they're just essentially lens covers) in glass?

Just get ebay lights and use the clear lens from those. It looks the same to me.

That sucks that they're discontinued. I just read scotturnots thread about it.

I actually just ruined my ebay lenses (tinted them with vht lens tint to hide my unfinished work ). When I finally got the paint off the lenses were so dry cracked and yellow it dimmed the headlight output.

Since I'm gonna get clear lenses and am too lazy to deline my stock ones, I really wanted lenses with reputable quality. Guess I'll just buy another set of ebays .

try some headlight restoration stuff / plastic x before you go and buy new ebay lights. It might save you a few bucks and surprise you on how well that stuff works.

Going with what you said...does anybody know where to purchase clear bra for our lowbeam lamps? or where we can get a sheet and possibly just mold it over and cut the extra off?
