Exclamation Transmission Cooler Line?

I'm in the process of draining my transmission fluid I'm currently not sure which line is the cooler line. I was told it was on the passenger side of the radiator here's a pic of the hoses I found not sure which one it is. Any help would be appreciated

What car is this?

If this is your SC400, then the line that is most on the passenger side is the return line from the radiator. The sitting toward the drivers side is the inlet from the transmission. There is a metal pipe the sits against the radiator that goes from one of these lines over to the drivers side. That's why they are close together.

So I'm guessing the return line is the line next to the big fat radiator hose right?

Either. There is very little fluid in the cooler. This was my thread when I did it, ignore the angry-pants posters. I don't think they even read my posts.

You cant fully drain the transmission w/o draining the torque converter. Too bad they dont have drain plugs on the TC, like some vehicles. My buddys Ford truck has a drain plug on the TC. I usually just fork out the hundred dollar bill & have a lube center, hookup the drain & fill machine to it. It swaps the fluid while it runs.

The instructions in my forum post from awhile ago include instructions on how to get the fluid out of the TC and replace it with new fluid. You disconnect one of the transmission coolant hoses and start the car. This activates the fluid pump. Pour transmission fluid down the dip stick tube to replace the fluid that is being pumped out. When it turns pink like new fluid, you're done. Button her back up.
