Is my asking price unrealistic?

First question....Is that Canadian $ or US$ ($7900)??? Don't know the overall condition of your car or the maintenance history on it. I do know that Vancouver is a very "rich" city. Ton's of young Asians (they love Asian made cars) with what appears to be money to spend. I would say $8000 US is a good place to start (ALWAYS PRICE HIGH) then you can always negoiate downward..if you must. If the car is in real nice shape $6-7 grand, exceptional.. $8 grand with the right buyer.
I've had my '99 sc400 up for sale for almost 2 years in Vancouver, and not one bite (actually thats not true, I almost sold it to some woman in Ontario last week before she pulled out). Yea the price is up there, but I really dont want to sell it unless someone who really wants it is willing to pay for it, so I'm fine with that.
I think the problem with Vancouver is that rich kids only drive brand new Bimmers, while non-rich kids only drive Honda's. There doesnt seem to be very much in-between here. Not to mention the SC scene (except for a few cars) here is non existent..
Not sure your reason for selling the SC, I've seen it for sale for a while and it looks gorgeous. I'm assuming you need a more of a winter car since your in Squamish, but I'd just keep it.
Little thing that I found out with my SC, every small little mod just makes me fall in love with the car all over again lol

Thanks for your input, I may consider dropping the price some more to attract buyers. Honestly if I had someone serious look at it it would be gone Im sure, it drives beautiful and no rattles squeaks etc. It hasnt been subjected to any makeshift mods or repairs and it shows. I wouldnt sell it except I have too many cars as I recently added a 02 Lexus ES300 to the fleet cause its easier to have a babyseat for my grand daughter :-).
