Im trying to order a new one.
I noticed in the space left after the auto body people took mine off that there are 3 little holes where the emblem is, presumably there were pegs on the emblem??
Anyways, I ordered a new one...and the Lexus dealer keeps sending me the trunk one I think.....because the emblem has no pegs on there....
Has anyone taken there emblem off or replaced theirs? If so, should the front emblem have pegs on back??

I haven't taken them off, but some little *****ER stole them from my car!!!!! Two times it happened!!!! . But I have pictures of what the front and back look like... I got my insurance company to repair it all the second time, costed them like 700 800... repainted the front bumper and rear trunk... worked in my favour! (Filed the front bumper so there are no holes too (licence plate). Well anyways, yes the fronts do have pegs, as well as the rears... I couldn't tell you which ones don't have pegs? But I am sure it wouldn't be hard to order them.

Well I keep giving the dealer the part number for the hood one...and he keeps sending me back one without pegs that is a different part number. He insists it is the hood one...but theres no pegs and its not.

my front L was stolen and the lexus dealership sent me one with no pegs and it works fine. It covers the holes perfect.

This sounds weird. I have a '92 SC300 and when i replaced my emblems, all of them have pegs on them. I don't think u should have any problems w/ the non-pegged emblems, but if u have peg holes, then u should insist on getting an emblem w/ pegs. If need be, u could always ask for a 92 emblem b/c i know those have pegs.
