QUICK! Have my headlights out for cleaning, 2 questions....
OK, I have my headlights out right now as Ill be resealing them today.
3 things and 2 questions...
1-Darn it, I scratched the area up because the headlights were stubborn in coming out. Well the driver side...I learned by then not to do it on pass. side.
Anyways 2 questions....
2-The dishwater cleaning method....I dont see how I can clean any area of the headlight except the turn signal area....because that area is blocked off from the rest of the headlight....and the 2 other holes have protectors over the bulb...so whats up there? How do I wash out the rest of the light?
3-The 2 little drainage hoses....I cracked 1 on each light....trying to clean them out. Are these mandatory to fix? Or will the drainage things be pointless as long as I seal the rest of the headlight?
Answers ASAP would be appreciated.

1 - If you have a buffer, go get some Meguires Scratch X and buff it out as best you can.
2 - There should not be anything covering the holes to get into where the low beam bulbs go. You did take the headlights out first right? If so, there should be a hole where the 9006 low beam used to be. Use that as access. *Note for a good solution in cleaning the inside of your headlight, use boiling water and then put some tide in... Swish it around and then just Jet Dry to dry it out without any waterspots. Or use a hair dryer.
3 - If you cracked it there is nothing much u can do. I doubt Lexus supplies that plug. What you can do is seal it up with some silicon if you want, or wrap it in plumbers tape.
Good luck!

OK.....the low beam bulb is out...but there is still that dome over the area (if you are looking at the light from the outside). Will the water run through it regardless??
Also...you mention Jet Dry...is that a cleaning product or do you mean put it in the dishwasher?
I have the silicone on right now....says 72 hrs to cure, so they will be off til Tuesday, and then I hope to wash them out, redry them and install them, then install my HID kit next weekend.
Anyways, let me know on the above.
