There will be enough fluid left in the rack to lubricate it. Of course you tighten the fittings back, but your pump will need to be repl. with an idler pulley, unless you can get a shorter belt. I tried to delete the A.C. but couldnt get enough belt around the water pump. Ill have to fab. an idler pulley.

I've driven an SC400 without power steering and I thought it felt like a total tank. What's even funnier is the guy wanted almost seven grand for it....
