so evr since i bought my sc ac doesnt work, not one bit, if i hit the AC button it does nothing, normally turning on the AC in my other cars i can hear things trun on, in this case its nothing, just the little green light on the AC
any ideas on wht i should check? its getting really hot

The first thing to check is the compressor. With the engine OFF find the compressor and grab the clutch, the part in front of the pulley, and try to turn it. If you can turn it buy hand and it feels pretty smooth, not like its full of sand or anything, the next step is to add refrigerant. I would go ahead and add some with uv dye since you most likely have a leak somewhere. If the pressure in the system is too low the low pressure safety switch won't let the compressor clutch engage because there won't be sufficient oil to lubricate the compressor. Once you get it charged up you'll need a small black light to find the leak.
