427rwhp @ 8psi on 8.5:1????? DAMMN... That's a TON of hp for 8psi. Took Jeff around 16-17psi to get near that same figure with a larger turbo. It took 13psi for me to hit that on 10:1 compression. Mighty impressive. Do you have any videos or dyno sheets?

Default head gasket?

wow, nice hp numbers.

Are you using the stock head gasket or a thivker one to lower the compression???
Thanks

Not 8.5: 1. just a TT h/g

hope to post the dyno sheet tomorrow. also have a video but it's not digital . Maybe somelocal can help me covnert it and find a host.

Most of the things I had from my mk3 supra, like the turbo, vpc. intercooler, ttz fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, boost contoller (which by the way is not even turned on yet), greddy b/v, and other little odds and ends.

Ok, so you're more like 9.x? to 1. Sounds like a REALLY good compromise on the compression ratio. You must have nailed the air/fuel ratio. Did you log a/f? If so, what was it? What is the npr intercooler? A front mount? Big-Small?

Also, the .69 and .70 A/R is big for the T60-1, probably a good option considering the T60-1 spools so low with a .58 on the exhaust side.

Any engine work done on this? Also did you pull in 4th with the TC locked?

If you're at around 9.2:1 at 8psi, I would imagine you could run 14-15psi. Any thoughts on how much you'll be able to boost on pump gas?

If you're gaining 32hp per psi, you'd probably reach 575-600rwhp at 14-15psi. (very hard to believe)

Most of us are running stock MAF, I'm sure the VPC is helping a bit, too.

Still running a little rich around 4000 rpm but running lean around 6000rpm where i made my peak hp.
npr intercooler is the izuzu truck intercooler, the big one.
bone stock motor with 100k miles.

I don't know a lot about turbos and such but from what i've read here on the board, that sounds too good to be true.

When something this good happens to your car, you don't just post it without some proof. I think that's like the standard rule when you post something good. Back it up with pictures & video (if possible).

Default Hmmm....

Okay if it was a dyno sheet that extrapolates the crank horsepower figure and not at the wheels I would believe it.

427 crank...maybe 350 whp...possible

427 or 350...either way, it's better than NA SC400!! Man, I need a solution!
