i just searched this last night. im stock so my wires, cap and rotor will be factory replacements i will try to find good deals online though. NGK seems to be the plug of choice but i would like to hear more from people who use E3 spark plugs
I just used the toyota plugs Denso..i didnt want the NGK - PK20R8 or BKR6EP-8 if i wanted platinum ones. (for the 1jz)
But unless you have a need to.. just use the plugs designed for the car which come pregapped meaning dont touch them.
What about bosch iridiums? I don't mind gapping them, I just wanna know what's the best for my stock ge
In this case simple is better as NGK copper will be just fine and the exotic matreals are more for dealers to advertise lower maint costs when the car was new such as 80k before a tune up is needed etc.
I have a friend making 1,140whp on hs 2.0 evo 2 using NGK coppers so how much more do people need than that? LOL
The dealership distributor cap and rotor are the best.
Can you receive dealership wholesale pricing? If so I would get dealership wires. If not get NGK wires.
Get Denso or NGK plugs. Denso Ik16 iridium plugs are only $1 more expensive than platinum amazon.com
