SC400 45K miles for $6000 should i buy?
this guy is selling a 92 sc400 he had since new. it only has 45k miles and is in mint shape but it was in storage for 10 years. do you guys think these cars last and think its worth it with it being in storage for 10 years and the problems that may arise because of that?

like any car that's used, the seller should let you have an independent mechanic give it an once-over.
regardless, I would recommend replacing everything (oil, coolant, trans fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, serpentine belt, timing belt/tensioner, etc. etc.). cars don't necessarily take well to sitting, and these are concern areas to address.
if all this has been attended to, the car will be fine for 300,000 miles (and beyond), for sure.

That is a very good price for a car with that few miles. The only thing that concerns me is the storage. 10 years is a LONG time to sit idle. Have thoroughly checked out and then (if you buy it) be prepared to put some $$$ into refreshing the fluids/belts/etc. and perhaps even the tires (dry rot).

Echo all the above. That's a good price if it truly only has 45k on it. Change all the fluids (including PS and brake), belts (including the timing belt), and tires. Treat all the door/window seals with good vinyl/rubber like Meguiars, and you'll basically have a new car.
