Default SC300 midpipe question

Hey guys, might be a bit of noob questions here and there but please dont tell me to search, because i have searched and i'm merely just making sure of a few things ive found out from searching.

So, my midpipe has a crack or two and is getting annoying. I wanna fix it, but no shop around here would make me a catless one. So im looking at ordering an OBX midpipe (keep in mind im on a college students budget) but not anything else in the exhaust system yet.
Now question is, would having that O2 sensor unplugged throw a code? ive searched and found that its a no if its obd1?
Second question is would it bolt up to stock flanges of y pipe? https://935motorsports.com/catalog/p...f02fc5eff9fe4f i believe its a 3in midpipe but im not sure and i cant call them. It says it will fit to stock headers but will it fit to stock y pipe? thanks guys for any help

car is a 1994 sc300

You are OBD1, and yes you will throw a code with your rear O2 sensor unplugged.

Is the rest of your exhaust 3" if not, then there's no purpose in putting in a 3" section in stock piping.

I dont even think odb1 has an o2 sensor on the midpipe.

I really dont remember seeing one so you may wanna stick your head under there and take a look it may save you some time. maybe if its from california it may have one.
odb2 uses a post cat o2 sensor and your car is odb1.

3" midpipe for a single turbo supra or sc300 will bolt right up.
toyota uses a generic 2 bolt flange that is huge, so it will bolt up to the stock headers and catback.

note a downpipe/midpipe for a supra twin turbo will not bolt right up, the flange sits up higher in the bay.

Yes I know its obd1, sadly.

Thanks ali, exactly what I wanted to hear/know.

I'll check if there's a sensor or not, but pretty sure there was last time I lifted it.

No, the car is 100% stock... but im not even sure if its 3in, thats why i asked, plus im mainly doing it as a replacement that i can use down the road when i do upgrade the rest of the system, as well as a cat delete..

a 2.5" replacement would work just fine as well and is probably more readily available.

It IS possible it has rear O2 sensor. California emissions required 4wire O2 sensors front and rear even for OBD1 cars. I personally have a 93.5 NA MKIV supra that originated from california and it has 3 4wire O2 sensors, 2 up front on each exhaust manifold bank and one in the rear cat. So depending on the states emissions requirements where the car was sold you may have a rear O2

if you replace it and find out there is one there is a solution to keep the code from popping up: https://www.speedforsale.com/suprapa...coltb1jj204ds4

yeah i know a shop can put a bung in, might end up doing that.. but i dont see where a 2.5 catless midpipe is more readily available 88supramki..

just checked, my car has a sensor.

Would this fit on my car? http://store.driftmotion.com/static/i-3103-rt006.php
I know ali said not supra twin turbo but im not sure. This will conclude the thread. Thanks
