i have to say (in all seriousness), when i got it first thing i checked for was a dead body in the trunk.
Are you sure your doors aren't sagging? Any type of the little bit of a bind and it will not close all the way. Check your hinges and see if there is any popping. Laslty pick up your door a little on the end that opens and see if it has any play in it, if so replace the hinges or lube it very well.. Remember that white lithium grease looks bad and dries out. Jmo.

why there isnt that much room in there? lol lincoln continental or a crown vic, now there is some body snatcher room in those things. and dont be me started on the 70's land yachts!
i know the doors are heavy.. but you guys must have something wrong with yours.. i dont have to slam mine or anything.. just a little tap and they close flawlessly. (unless the seatbelt is stuck in the door. which it seems to do more and more often now a days)
Door is much easier to close if the cabin isn't completely sealed. Just crack the window open a little and you should notice a big difference. Still heavier to close than any car I can remember coming across.
