Default 95 sc400 swapping the steering wheel.. will this affect pass airbag?

i got a 95 sc400 and i just picked up a spiffy vertex steering wheel and im going to be using a momo hub. i was just wondering, since im not use to having the 95 w/ airbag on dash (had a 93 no airbag dash) was wondering if its going to effect it/ disable it? am i going to get a stupid SRS light? anyway arround this? before i install this..

or am i in the clear?

Idk about The SC400 but most cars you need a special resistor or the SRS light will go on without an airbag steering wheel.

Personally i wouldn't remove the airbag, it might save you sometime.

It will be fine as long as you pull the bulb in the cluster as srs is inop when the light comes on anyhow.

The SRS light just means there's a problem in the system. Don't take it for granted that it means the passenger bag won't trigger -- there's a very good chance that it will still work just fine.
