Default What differences are there between 92 & 94 2jz

I was changing my water pump yesterday when I realized my car might not be what I think it is. Only half of the holes lined up on the pump WTF. I checked the part number and was sure I had a 92 sc300 water pump in my hand. At that point I was curious about the motor. I spent about 4 hours trying to find the vin on the engine and then another hour making room for my head to fit to read it because all I could get with a scope or a camera was the GD Toyota security markings. After that drawn out process it turns out my car had a heart transplant. My 92 SC has a 94 GS engine.

So does anyone know of any other differences between these two years?

Some engines used the 10 hole and some use the 11 hole water pumps. Its a mystery but you cant tell just by the vin number. You can only tell when you take off the cover. Why its that way I dunno.
