I just bought one too with 226,000 miles on it timing belt and water pump was changed at 175,000, it was a mechanic who owned it before me and it was well taken care of but I want to get it checked out anyways. So far its been running really quiet beside some squeak coming from the middle console somewhere. Anyone have any ideas how much it is to check eveything that was listed?

Most shops will simply charge you for an hour of labor to do a full inspection if you request it. Then they will list every problem you have and promise that it can't be driven due to a catastrophic issue unless you spend $1k with them

I took my SC to the shop today to see what was wrong with the a/c. I was hoping it just needed to be recharged with some freon, but it was worse. Turns out the Compressor has seized, therefor it is time to replace it. Does any body know where the best affordable place to order a compressor from?

Scroll down to the classifieds section on Club Lexus. Create a thread that reads: WTB AC Compressor ASAP

and your PM inbox will be filling up in no time. You'll probably get one for $100 give or take. Add shipping, you're looking at a week tops. Best of luck man.
