Its been done but just wanted to share Picked up some nearly mint JDM Supra seats to go in my 97 SC with black interior. Passenger side will be power and driver manual because of the opposite side in the JDM version. Should also be able to fit other seats with the rails. Picked em up local for 200
That's a nice set of seats for the price. Do you know if they had the five speed pedals? I need some. I don't know if I would give up the power options.
He only had the seats.. he was going to weld them in to a scion TC but I guess changed his mind. I got them because I am almost 6'5 and the lower seat will give me more head clearance. They are also in much better condition than my stock SC seats.
Lucky you! I've always wanted to buy a USDM driver's seat and a JDM driver's seat so i could retain power seating for both seats. If you do find a power driver's seat i'll definitely take that one off your hands!
I'm surprised no one has tried calling dibs on his old black seats. I know I'd be all over them if I had an SC.
Anyways nice pick up, how well do Supra seats hold you in? Lets say compared to some EVO 8 Seats or Honda S2000 seats?
I never tried the other seats but they are over all more solid. Not uncomfortable at all though. Its like sitting in a sport seat vs a lazy boy, each as its own pros.

Non new, non exciting part pick up today
