Why 92 SC so ugly?

probably shouldn't be bashing the 92 on a thread title like that, you have to consider the year it was made and the year it is now, the 92's had a great run, and imo with new wheels, coilovers, maybe a lip on the bumper, can do wonders. but i really like the shine, vertex, wald, and 97+ conversion. let us know what you decide on.

+1 its a simple design that can hide what true power can really be produced, but just seach google for oem bumpers an youll find a good amount. when I first started planning I thought since I need a new paint job to update to the 97+ but I just love that simple style and, dont hate me for this, but the 97 thing is done so much. but everyone has there own style an even if you love that older style, the 97+ is pretty slick. Hope you enjoy CL.

I don't get why people choose this car if they say they can't afford a supra. I bet it cost more to make this car perform like a supra than actually saving your money and buying a supra.

i like the 92 when i got mine i looked for a 92 for the body style..its a very unique body .can tell a sc from a mile away no other car has the good looking lines as tha sc...
i just need to get rid of the ugly rims that are on it and drop it alill... i had to get a body kit because the bumper got damaged in storage ....some one ran into it ... not crazy about body kit , but had replace nose any ways..
wheels and rims and lower it and it makes a huge difference it appearance

Or why buy it if you think it is ugly? I mean I love the lines of the car. I think it is very nice.

and a 97+ kit won't look any better with stock wheels, and springs.
However, if you wanna go that route, I believe the user aliga is from ny, and frequently has 97+ cars for parts.

jdm 2jzgte: $4000
single turbo: $2000
coilovers: $1200
Total: $10,200
Good luck getting a mk4 tt for that much.
#27
Swap?4000?plus labor? More like 6000
Tuning 1200
And single turbo for that price ya right. Even then you would still need breaks and a good tranny and all the other stuff.

1100 minimum for clutch
drive shaft 300-900
lsd 1000 for new one and wiring 900-1400
thats about ,ruffly 16,000.00
yea so its not cheap way to go.

Exactly even some supra owners say the sc guys spend more money than they do on their cars.
