so i failed smog

my hydro carbons are to high i got 119 min to pass is 70

before smog i put in gauranteed pass smog fuel injector cleaner
fresh oil change,air filter

i have no engine mods except fireball megas which wouldnt do anything really

my friend told me its my cats
im gona try the guaranteed pass stuff one more time
change fuel filter
and seafoam thru booster

and other things i should try which arent so cost effective

its funny i think i pissed off the test guy cuz my car is so damm low and i have a welded diff hes scratching his head like wtf...

Check for cracked or worn air lines.

Replace your ignition components. Spark Plugs. Distributor cap(s), rotor(s), and spark plug wires if applicable.

Skip the guaranteed to pass hocus pocus and make sure your engine is running right.

Have a scanner hooked up to your car and check the o2 sensor readings. High HC normally indicates incomplete combustion of the fuel. Make sure the sensors are reading correctly, otherwise your car will default to running rich. Check the basics like air filter and spark plugs.Not having enough air or spark will not allow a complete burn of the mixture.There are quite a few things that can be associated with high HC..

Changing fuel filter won't do anything so I'd skip on that.

fuel injector cleaner can raise hc and co/co2 if your tank isnt full try filling it with gas to dillute the injector cleaner the injector plus seafoam isnt good for smog gotta get it all out

watching this. i also had to much HC and carbon monoxide but im in indiana.
