If you have the AC kit (in your sig), I think 18's would look too small on it. With that kit you at least want 19's man.

Wouldn't you not want a step lip then? If you're trying to show off a BBK i mean. Excuse me if i'm wrong, which i probably am, but aren't the faces of step lip rims smaller than normal rims? That's just what i gathered from comparing step-lips to normal lips.

You're right, but in some wheels, this isn't as pronounced as in others. Ex. the Work S1s have a smaller face because it has a triple step lip vs the SSR SP1 with only double.

In the OPs case, he probably wants something that has more gaps in the face, which would show the BBK better, not necessarily the diameter. ie. no full face wheels.

If that's the case, I would stay away from the CCWs because no matter how sick they are, there is a lot going on wit the face that might take away from the BBK.

Of the brands you listed, HRE 595s would probably show off your BBK the best, or any of their other 5 spoke designs.

Meister S1's do not have a triple, and SP1's do not have a double step. They both utilize a single step which is .5" around the circumference of the inner and outer barrels.

Now CCW's on the other hand use "double" step barrels, but they're not physically a double step. Instead the step on CCW barrels is a full 1" all the way around the inner and outer barrels. This is why CCW faces look so tiny, because in fact they are. For example an 18" CCW Classic uses 18" barrels but the face is only 16" and can be converted to a 16" rim if you used 16" reverse barrels

ive been thinking ok varrstoen just because im sure its something i can use as a winter wheel and its not a big deal. I was thinking of spending more on a set of 20's that flow really good and a cheap set of 18s. I need something that isnt too heavy though and i know forged wheels come with a price tag no matter what.
