Default Headlight installation

I'm trying to install the headlights in my SC. There's one issue though, I have a hard time getting the headlights to fit. on the fender side, they just don't seem to go that far in so I could get the nuts on. Has anyone else experienced this?

Huh? Can you post a pic so we can see what you're saying?

You have to massage/finesse the headlight until you get the headlights in there. Be sure to use some painters tape on the bumper by where the headlight sits you may scratch the paint in that area. I have scratched my paint numerous times.

OEM or eBay ones? Good advice on tapping the bumper.

You might want to pull back the inner plastic fender liner after removing the few screws that hold it in place and you can see how the 2 studs on the headlight line up with the 2 holes on the fender. At least this way you can actually see what your doing.

tap and sum more tap deff helps, put the headlight light in at an angle, fender side first, once those screw parts line up, put the bumper side in and pop the little joint part in what i ended up doing (i remove my headlights ALOT almost on a daily basis because i design diff lights) is not putting the bolts back on from the fender (i dnt think many people would recommend it ) but i just use the top bolt and the joint to hold my lights in, havnt had any problems with and makes it much easier to take out later
