Bought mine for 1500.00. 188,000 miles. Needed all kinds of maintenance. Got about half of that squared away. Alternator, Ps pump, lca bushing, BFI and brakes done. Needs tires, steering rack bushings, every bushing in the rear end and oil pan gasket. Valves could be adjusted. Body was rough (rear quarters had some damage and other minor nicks and bruises) only about a few more hours of body work left. Interior was shot and since I have two more cars I gutted most of it and decided this will be a toy all in all its in decent shape for a 20 year old car. I have a wish list a mile long and plan on keeping it for a long time.

we bought my wifes for $700, and at that point it had seen better days. After two weeks of looking like this it went to paint and body.

Nearly every SC400 I've seen is in horrible shape, it's weird why the 400s are always in such bad shape. Most of the time I assume the crappy SC is a 400 now :|

Still I can't stand people who don't take care of their cars.

It made me sick to see how bad of condition this one was in. I almost didn't buy it til we popped the hood. It's gonna be a little bit of work but we plan on bringing both of our SC's back from the dead
