Default 90k maintance price avg !?!?!?!

Iam a Noob to the Lexus world and not to familiar with maintance prices. I called Hennessey Lexus here in Ga. to get an estimate for the 90k service on my 99 SC 400 which includes water pump, timing belt, all belts, new hoses all front engine gaskets, etc. etc. related to the service and was quoted a price of $1300...is this an avg price on 90k service. Feel free to chime in with what you guys paid for your service at your local Lexus Dealership.

That's about right. You can find the parts online for cheaper but the labor cost is killer.

did my own 90k and just did plugs wires, etc last week it is a big job but if u can turn a wrench u can save some money doing the work yourself

this is a pic i took from doing the following.

valve cover gasket, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, camshaft seals (did it 3 times cuz i didnt use factory seals), radiator, and coolant flush i spent a total of ~$350 and my time didnt cost me anything so i saved there

I got my water pump, timing belt, engine gasket, hose, sparkplugs, etc. all for about $980. I bought all the parts and my mechanic did all the labor so it wasn't too bad especially since he completely cleaned up my entire car.

Levie I did my timing belt and water pump when I first got my car before i learned some tricks about working on these engines. There is a guy on YouTube who shows you how to do the job. Took me about a day and a half cuz I needed to get the right part and the right air gun to take the crank bolt off. I recently learned that my engine is non interference so when I took the bolt off again I just put a breaker bar on a ratchet and blipped the starte to get the bolt loose

As far as the maintenance I did in the picture above. Everything was very straight forward and I would have been done quickly had it not been for the valve cover gaskets and cam seals. The egr pipe is a PITA to get off when trying to remove the y pipe. Cam seals were straight forward. Set engine to TDC remove timing belt tensioner pull off belt and cam gears and backing plate. Be sure to use seals from the dealer I got bit and had to do the job 3 times!!

Patience, a big Pry bar and I believe it was a 1 1/4 wrench I used to get th nut off, I'm sure there is a right was to remove that pipe but I didn't have Internet access at the time I did it

Also once u have the egr nut loose removing y pipe hardware to loosing it seemed to help
