Default Weighed my SC

i went to see a client today, they have a truck scale and i "accidentally" <wink wink> parked my SC on there scale and walked thru the office and looked at the scale monitor.
the car weighed 3640 lbs

fully loaded 92 SC400 with 18's, the 18's are slightly heavier than my stock 16's, but you get the general idea.

That's right in there on the average...ours was 3670, (1950F/1720R)

Just minor lightening got it down to 2390 though, not too bad!

Unless his seats were made of solid gold that is not 1300 pounds.

Maybe he meant 3390 lbs?

That sounds a lot more reasonable

Think about this:

SC300 ~ 3500 lbs
SC400 ~ 3600 lbs
Supra ~ 3400 lbs

Things that will lighten up the car without making it ala rice-boy:

Carbon-fiber hood (painted)
lighter rims (usually high quality)
lighter seats (including Supra TT seats)
no spare tire (especally if you have the Supra TT brakes)
no floormats
removed insulation (not sure you want to do that)

... there is more, but I don't feel like going for days.

I think if we get a good break down it would be a worthy FAQ question
