My 99' sc400
Hello all I've been lurking this forum for quite some time now and I finally got around to taking some pictures of my car. Before I post them and write any info about my car I would like to thank this forum and anyone that contributed to it for all the great information that is printed here. I've owned this car for about 4 months now and in those past months I've been gathering parts for it. The car is a Black/Tan 1999 SC400 with 152,xxx miles. I finally got around to putting the parts on it and this is what I have done so far:
All new fluids (did this right when i got the car)
Cleaned throttle body
New engine mounts/tranny mount
Supra KYB AGX and Tanabe GF210 springs
IS350 wheels with 225/40 and 255/35 in the back
JVC flip out deck with 2 10" RE Audio and 1000watt Alpine PDX amp
55w 5000k Hids for the lows, 3000k for the fogs
Seafoam'd
LS400 BBK(sitting in my garage)
Plans I have for her:
Clean/reseal headlights
BFI
Exhaust after the Y pipe (info I gathered from Jbrady's posts )
Possibly tints
Auto TT LSD
Here are 2 quick pictures that I took off of my phone....let me know what you guys think!

Welcome to the vvti 400 club. Yes Mr Brady, does know what he is talking about. You probably already know this, cause im sure you have seen my threads, but headers make a BIG difference. Car's got a nice stance.

Headers would be an awesome upgrade just very costly from what I have read. You're car is an inspiration to me. Thanks for commenting.

Yes I actually found out these things were rare AFTER I bought mine. Gorgeous color you got on that SC there. Thanks for commenting!

Welcome, and you sir have a very clean SC. On a side note this is a lot of good info, as well as DIY here. If you can think of it, chances are it's already info available here in the forumn. Use the STICKY or the SEARCH, it's pretty user friendly. Not to insult you...for example: SEARCH SC 300/400 interior-it will bring any article relating to sc3/4 interior, etc. It's easier to do then explain...lol GOOD LUCK! We're family here!

The handling is a huge difference. The ride is a bit bouncier mainly because I have the rears set at the stiffest setting which is 4 and the fronts at 2. On a smooth road the car feels stock however on rougher roads you can feel the bounce more. I'm stilling waiting for the springs to settle in so they will drop the car a little more. Theres more road noise after switching from the stock 16's to the 18's with lower profile tires.

I agree that '99 was a good year.
Very nice additions you've done to the car. I like the way it sits, however am a little dissapointed that you say its more bouncy. The bounciness is something I'm trying to get rid of on mine. Looks like the only way to get rid of that is to get some pricey coilovers.
Keep us posted on how you do your exhaust, I'm saving up money to do mine and researching a lot. More reviews of different setups would be greatly appriciated..!
