Well my 98 SC does not have drls or city lights in them why is that and some other sc's have them

DRL's came in the 99/2000 models which is why you don't have them.

Is there an easy way to convert your existing setup to do so? Even with a DRL module? So one doesn't have to use their fog lights..

^same. i think its ugly, so i swapped in smd/led bulbs so they dont turn on.

Did you import a 98 model to Canada? You can do "makeshift" DRL's by putting something dark (ie. Duct tape) over your light sensor for the automatic headlights. I passed with that.

the drl makes the high beam 9005 bulb run at a lower power so its not as bright. the smd/led bulbs dont turn on at the lower power and only turn on when you push the lever back/forward to turn the high beam on (higher power). the drawback is that your highbeam isnt as bright as the normal 9005 bulbs, but the 68+ led/smd bulbs are still bright enough for when you need them.

My '95 has DLRs, but that was a requirement for cars sold in Canada. The shop manual shows the differences in wiring and modules for the different models.
