Default Tried the heated seats today...

Y'all-

This was kind of weird, but when I tried the heated seats today, they weren't warm. The light came on and everything, but the seat didn't get warm. The first SC I had didn't have this option, so I'm new to it on these cars.

My Acura TL and Audi A4 had seat warmers which could reduce your behind to tears. One of my favorite things to do in the winter is to drive with the sunroof open and the windows cracked with the seat heaters on. It's a weird experience, like driving a convertible with the AC running.

I'm hoping they're just old and take a little while to warm up. I only had a short hop from the inconvenience store back home, which took me about five mins.

If they don't work, oh well. Everything else on this car works fricking awesome, so no real complaints.

I think I'm going to Savannah tomorrow and will try the CD stacker (12). Would be pretty cool since the stock stereo still kicks, though sounds a little bassy at the high end. Could be back speakers need replacing.

Brer

WOW. Anyone else still finding excuses to take their Soarer for a spin? I almost miss smoking- just to have an excuse to drive my SC.

My seats usually take at least ten minutes before I start to feel any warmth.

Sorry levie- it's still an SC, but I think of all of these cars as SOARERs. Yeah, community- I know they're not- but they're special and they give us such joy, so as to cause us to SOAR with pleasure.

Ok so it's not just me. My SC is a weekend driver and the heated seats are a little weak. My daily driver is a BMW and not much better. But my director has a Cadillac with incredible heated seats. Just looking from some opinions.

Thanks,
RJ

I will post some pics of my OEM lip that I added. It works but not made for and 95.

You got it, RemSteele. My Audi had heated seats that would cause the passenger to shift uncomfortably in their seats after a few minutes. I know it was childish, but I used to love to mess with my girl that way- she'd give it about five minutes before punching me in the arm.

I really do miss her - the car, not the girl. Although they were both German, and quirky (can't call a car crazy, can we?)
