Default Supra TT Wheels

So i bought a set of TT polished Wheels and had them refinished to perfection and bought new tires.

315-35-17 for rear 17x 9 1/2 and 225-35-17 for the front 17 x 8

I bolted the wheels on and they look like ****! The front look like spare tires and rears are fine, but fronts look horrible. Im sooooo pissed i spend sooo much money on these wheels and they let me down!

What do i do to make these look good or should i just sell them?

Anyone else running TT wheels on their SC and if so what tire size you using and any spacers?

plz help .. and pics would be awesome

Why would you so grossly oversize the rear tires and then grossly undersize the fronts. You need to be running 275 or 285s out back max, and a minimum of 245 up front. I am running 245/285 and they are perfect and look great.

Supra TT wheels look like **** anyway. You should have been able to figure this out from pictures alone.

buy the right size front tires then sell the baby tires they will sell very fast

I had some a few years ago, on my 94. I thought they looked sharp! Rears were 275's, ..I think the fronts were 245, or 255's.

Im sure the Supra wheels are prob. a little lighter. Somewhat of a little sportier looking than the stock Lex. wheels with exc. build quality. I would buy a set if the cond. was good and the price right. However the wheels themselves are 2 diff. sizes if Im not mistaken.

They are.

315-35-17 for rear 17x 9 1/2 and 225-35-17 for the front 17 x 8

No idea how you can think a set if these look bad on an SC300/400 and there are plenty of pictures around to view before making a purchase.

225's up front are undersized. You need at least the factory Supra 235/45-17's up there. Or 245/45-17's. Rear should be 255-275. 285 is the highest you should run in the rear I think.

TT's look and handle far better than the stockers and cost far less than expensive and showy rims.

KahnBB6 do you think the offset diff. is a problem for the SC?

Ok well i got 315-35-17 in the Mickey Thompson ET Street tire so i can hook on street

the fronts i fudged up on and got the 225 =( ... I will have to fork over more money now for a set of 245's .. sigh!

Plus i am willing to sell these.. they are in MINT CONDITION! Probably the freshest set around. I spend a grand on these wheels between purchase and refurbish. so if anyone wants to give me a 1000 I will sell them. Pics coming tomorrow.

tt wheels do not look horrible on the SC they are actually the best looking stock wheels you can put on SC, GS, IS.
I got a set on my car 245 frt and 275 rear Nitto NT555r , they clear BBk, they are staggered, they are 17s look ok even with stock suspension and they hook with the right tires and right size on HH cars.
that's just my opinion..
