If it were me I would put another alternator in and see what happens. We don't like to use aftermarket alternators unless it's a denso or quality replacement. All that stuff with everything acting crazy is probably just a result of the low voltage situation. If it's at 12.8 it seems as the alt is working but just not good enough. Was it at 12.8 with a load on it?
