Default No sound from stereo

Hope someone can help me out. I took my 92 SC400 through a car wash today (for the first time since I've owned it ) and now there is no sound from the stereo. The antenna works fine as does the display on the unit. I've tried the CD as well- no sound. Any thoughts. Could it have been the wash or just a coincidence??

It's time to remove the trunk lining, by the Cd unit and locate the amp under the Cd. Use a flash light to see if there is any water around the amp, if you see any remove the amp and let it dry. Locate the drain tube and see for any leaking/clogging before replacing the amp, if the amp is still working after it has dried.

You guys called it- sure enough I had water around the Amp. I took out the Cd player but didn't take out the amp (didn't really know how) Anyhow cleaned up the water, used a blow drier around the amp and wires for a few minutes and, boom, music. THANKS AGAIN - I guess you Ranger fans are Ok.

Did you check your drain tube, for any leaks? The drain tube tends to slide up out the the drain hole causing the water to drain into the car/amp. It will happen again and fry the amp so fix it NOW.

I love hockey...would have loved to played (professionally) in the NHL, if only I had been born in Canada as an infant because it's a law that infant's must learn to ice skate before they are one.

I found a tube lying beside the amp. - it appeared to attached to a metal tube coming from the area of the gas fill up door. I reattached it there - is that what your talking about or is there another one??
