Hey guys, looking to buy a used lexus sc 300 with manual transmission and came across this interesting auction on ebay:

Honestly a car with that year and that kind of mileage and located in New York city on top of everything, sounds tooo good to be true.....what do you think? Thanks

Those miles for that car, seems like a really good deal...and since you're in NY, you should go and check it out. Take your mechanic with you. I'm not sure money situation, if you can afford it I would go for it. Others may say that's too much-but you have to look at the overall condition of the car and the miles. Either way, wish you the best of luck...

I just ebayed a 1997 SC300 a few weeks ago, and I lucked out overall. Problem with these cars is they're bulletproof when well cared for- but when they go wrong, OUCH!

Mine was from NJ, and has a little rust and oxidation- enough so that folks know it's from the North. But for that money, I think I'd look for something local or wait until something else came down the line. I know it sucks, but is it worth an almost 8k smack upside the head?

Low mileage, very impressive, go check it out b4 its too late.
