Just picked up a white 97 SC300
i sold my black 94 sc300 with 221k last night and picked up a white 97 sc300 with about 142k today. this makes my 3rd sc. it does need some work. its in a bit worst condition than my 94, but its my favorite because i finally have the 97-00 body style i always wanted. it needs a new passanger side window regulator, brake pads(and maybe rotors), back bumper needs to be painted over, the heat shield on the exhaust rattles sometime which annoys the hell out of me, headlights are pissy yellow lol and it could use a tune up. i notice its a bit more slugish than my 94. it also has some kind of aftermarket mufflers that i really dont like. it needs some work but im looking forward to cleaning it up and bring it back. i plan on hanging on to this one for a while though. just wish it had black interior. will post pics tomorrow

just a few pics from my phone..
one of the last pics of my 94 300 before i sold it..
the night i bought the 97..
removed the tint from the back 3 windows..
the interior was nasty, especially the carpet. took the seats out today and cleaned it.. before..
and after.. still not perfect but much better..
after polishing one of the headlights to show the difference and how bad they were.. pics are not too clear though
my climate control wasnt working. it would light up but none of the buttons worked. i thought i needed a new unit but after searching on here i found out it was just the cigarette lighter fuse was blown. replaced it and now its working fine. good thing for this forum

Enjoy it! I have always ignored the 97's because they don't get all the goodies of the 98 (it's kind of a teaser year), but you do at least get the newer style 98+ body and if you like them, the cathode dash (I think they look too greyish because the cathodes are too low powered). The best news though about having a 97 is that when you're sitting on the fence neither side (-96><98+) can hate on you.

nice but good luck finding a window regulator for under $160. took me forever to find one for my 93, finally got it from a junk yard though for $35. got really lucky with that find.
