wheel spacer
I bought a set of Hacing Hart 18" Evo C2 3 piece wheels for my SC400 and for some reason its unable to clear the front calipers. The rears fit fine but the front needs another 2-3mm of clearance to clear the caliper.
where can I buy some wheel spacers?
who makes the best ones?
how much should I expect to pay?
Should I buy the 5mm or the 15mm?
thanks

Hook me up!
if I have 5mm clearance it would be more than enough.
Right now it seems like it needs 2mm-3mm.
I would really like 5mm or 8mm
If anything I can shave that little tiny bit off the caliper but rather not.
Anything that will give clearance will do.
Thank you for looking that up for me.
Does anyone know what center bore (Inside diameter) and the Outside diameter of the spacer should be?
Thanks

You "can" go with the cheap spacers, but here's the thing. You may need longer wheel studs depending on how big you go (not with 5mm tho). If you buy the el-cheapo's from Pep Boys, they're generic. And the problem with those is they will not sit exactly flush, so when you tighten the wheel down you'll have ot make sure they're straight. Of course, they are only $5 a piece.
Or...you could go the "good" way and get something like H&R. They come with the correct center hub size, so it's a perfect fit. No wobble. They are balanced, much stronger, and they come with the wheel studs. The bad thing is...they're $50 - $75 each.
I have cheaped out on some things on my car, but the way I look at that...you cheap out on those, and your wheels might fly off. That's not a good prospect.
I'm running 10mm on the back with new wheel studs, and 5mm on the front with the factory wheel studs.
Please excuse the rust and crappy look of the pic...the car hasn't been run in a while now.

look like Monsoons to me... AV3=curved lip, Monsoon=angled lip.
Wiz, you're not putting spacers on a 40mm offset wheel are you? Please tell me that they're 17x9.5...

VSsc400,
Are your rims the right offset etc? If they are they should fit onto the factory hub sweet?
Just like to mention that I've fitted my Enkei G-Zero's today, and I'm a very happy man!! The car still rides smooth (I'm running 235/40 and 245/45 rubber with 18" rims), although I'll need new tyres (I bought the rims secondhand) as the back tyres are gone, but they fit perfectly... correct offset and everything!
