That's about right for a 2j set up. It differs greatly when you start with the 1uzfe. Most if not all tje parts are custom. Custom = big bucks. You will make more power with the 1uz its just a factor of how much work and money you are willing to give your project.

For my build using the 1uzfe:
Engine 350
Metal head gasket : 250
Super charger : 1900
Custom intake mani : 2000
Getrag : 4000
Clutch: 2000
Adaptor plate: 500
Bypass valve :350
Wideband gauges x2 : 700
Boost, oil and temp, 850
Full exhaust including headers : 2500
Plus all the odds and ends I came across.


You can see it adds up quickly

I don't mean to sound like an assholle but so far only 3 people have actually made an on topic post. I appreciate the the gesture but there's no way I'm doing a JZ swap. Like I said, I pride myself on being unique and uncommon, so that's it, end of story.
