You're surprised that the general public doesn't recognize a low production luxury sports coupe created by Lexus that had an original sticker price of 45K+ in the early 90's?
Add to the fact that a lot of people on here replace their Lexus badge with a toyota or soarer emblem and then you're stumped when joe blow doesn't know what a soarer is? Plenty of people don't even know that Lexus is owned by Toyota.

For the first week or so that I've owned my SC and brought it around the area, I have had numerous people come up to me and ask me what it was. I tell them it's an SC400 and they are just clueless. So many people have told me they have never heard/seen one of these before and it just leaves me baffled. Anyone else have someone come up to them and tell them they have never seen or heard of these cars before ?

This thread has gone so many ways already...
Not all noobs are forum savy so thats where u get the pointless posts/threads...most of us have come from different forums. I kno honda-tech dont play that **** with these bs repetative post/ threads. You gotta wear a flame suit all the time over there..but we are a nicer crowd so some would frown on that. Im all for the bashing , sometimes i need a good laugh anyway.

Idk about where you guys/girls live but here in florida unless u live in the sticks jus about everyone has seen a sc on the road clean or beat up. They only ask these stupid questions jus to be that...STUPID! Wheneva i get asked sumthing dumb i jus smh n walk away cuz i dont feel like wasting my time entertaining someones stupidity....do not say its ignorance! But in other states it might be different.
