What could cause this? It is a new mast that went in with no issues and all of the old track has been removed from the motor housing so I am at a loss on this one.

Anybody have any exp with this issue?

Yup! I have the same thing going on.. Is it the eBay one? If so, we have the same.. Doesn't bother me though, we don't have a dedicated Hip Hop station down here in SD only if I go up to LA! LOL

Not really sure why, but it's either gonna be shaved or permanently down once I change my stereo..

Yea it's the e-bay one but the odd thing is that it worked fine the 1st couple of times and now it does this.

i just replaced the mast with one from ebay and now i have the same problem

I think that's normal? I remember my antenna going up or down a little when I changed radio stations to get the best reception possible.

I don't know about the guys that changed to MDX or S2K antenna's but I love seeing mine go up and down. LOL
