What turbo(s) are you going with now? Also I thought you were going to sell that car?

Yes... adding the 6-speed can be done. Here is what is involved:

1. Spend $5-6K for a good Getrag, PLUS the complete rear end assembly from a Supra (Diff. ratios on the Lexus will NOT be compatible with the Getrag)
2. Have the driveline shortened
3. Purchase clutch, clutch pedals, clutch hydraulic parts, etc, from Lexus
4. Modifications required with the shifter to fit in the SC300

If you don't already have the car, I wouldn't even THINK about buying an automatic and then spending this kinda money.

You're better off just getting a manual 5-speed SC300, and spend your money on engine power upgrades, if that is what you are after. The 5-speed is strong as an ox, and will hold up well under a lot of horsepower. The 6th speed is really unnecessary with a turbo, just window dressing!

Strong as an ox your kidding right??? Jeff(sc300turbo) broke many 5spd with only 400rwhp. There is no way a 5spd is going to handle any real power.
