Hey guys I jus picked up a full black interior for the car. I have everything out except a driver seat and carpet. I've seen some threads on how to move them manually. I've never tried it and want to make sure that someone has actually done it.

You're in luck... I was up in the attic getting a pic for THIS GUY and decided I had something literally "laying around" for you too.......
You can clearly see the corkscrew worm gear that turns when you turn the (10mm?) nut on the end of the seat rail. By looking REALLY CLOSE at the last pic you can also see a worm gear dead center in the middle of the seat at the front. This seat has the larger main ECU and more motors so it's the driver seat. I don't know if this is the main worm in the middle that turns the other two, or it must be done independently and that one is for maybe the height adjustment (more likely)....... but I do know turning the end worms will result in it moving and you can see those nuts at the end of each worm to get ahold of with the ratchet. If that center worm is indeed for height then it is a win/win because you can raise the seat more making it easier to work on.

Great info for future reference. Thank you. Im going to also check if our sunroofs have a manual override. My window fuse popped the other day, and my roof was in the "tilt" position. Good thing it didn't rain before I replaced the fuse.
