I use them, don't expect them to add any hp you can feel, but there's a warm fuzzy feeling you get from spending $15 per plug.....

Someone at the Norcal meet was mentioning that the Torquemaster and Denso sparkplugs actually produced dyno-proven power. Something to do with even detonation creating a more forceful explosion (???). I don't remember exactly what he was saying, but maybe Hermosa does?

Yeah, torquemaster, splitfire, Bosch +4, etc, are all based on the theory that multiple electrodes will allow a stronger flame kernel and therefore more complete combustion, and it makes sense to me, I could see them being worth a couple hp, I couldn't feel a difference though and I have a very well-calibrated butt-dyno, but on a boosted GE, the NGK 3330 seems to be the way to go....

P.S. - The Iridium plugs have only one electrode, but it's absolutely tiny, the material allows it to be made smaller and still be conductive and easy to 'light off'

that's not too bad...

RX7 plugs run for 9 bux for standard
12-13 bux for plat

racing ones are crazy expensive.
