So i found this part the other day and am concerned because i think this is part of the headlight breather am i correct if not what does this thing do?

somebody told me the headlight breather is upside down can someone post a pic of how the headlight breather is suppose to look connected i got pissed and took mine off tonight i just cant stand seeing my lights like this
