Wreck / insurance issue; what should I do?

Buy it back, you will make a lot of money from that car... Side skirts, rear bumper, door molding, door panel and the list goes on.. You won't believe the money you will make from that car. Don't let them take it trust me. Im sure it wouldn't be that much to buy it. You should get atleast $4000+ from that car guaranteed.

sucks to see a nice car totalled. did you just pm me on ebay regarding the amplifier? i still have the speakers from my blue sc (not on ebay) if you would like to buy them when youre coming down to houston. i can remove them this weekend. insurance adjuster will likely not check for speakers or things that are hidden, but if you want/need them lmk.
I've never parted out a car before, but I'll see what the buyback price is going to be and make a decision.
Thanks everyone!

I don't know... 8300 seems kinda weak...
Just checked NADA value, it's almost $12,000. Double check that, but use it as a bargaining chip, stating the value of the car is way more than their appraisal. You won't get it, but I can bet they'll come up on that quote you got first

UPDATE!
Apparently State Farm (my insurance provider) is the only major insurance company that doesn't employ shady CCC or AutoSource "total loss" evaluations. Instead? They use NADA retail!
This means... they're offering me $12k! Same price I paid 4 years ago for this car! They're going to cut me a check tomorrow and go after All State.
Moral of the story: do your homework and don't accept the first thing life throws at you!
