I have a 2001+ BMW 5 series Projector, bulb, ballast and everything in my low beam that i just got done last saturday.
and while i was there i was bored and had an extra pair of 9006 HID's that use to be in my low beam so i didn't have any use for them so i put them in my fog light. The only HID kit you can use in the fog light is the type with 2 wires coming out the back of the HID bulb which the mucculluch kit has. all i did was take a dremel and make the square hole in the middle of the fog light housing bigger and rounder. then i took the dremel and file down the 3 legs on the 9006 HID bulb so its perfectly round. then i just insert the buib in and it was a perfect fit. i used the stock H3 Hinge thing to hold the 9006 bulb in place and it holds it perfectly. there is a bit of glare but thats going to be fixed soon. i am going to try something over the weekend and i'll see how it goes.oh yeah also you have to bend the glare guard up a little by using a screw driver to push it up or opening up the housing and removing the glare guard like i did.
