New door handle cable did the trick. The little plastic bushing that attaches to the door lock actuator was tweeked just slightly. When I replaced it the handle works like a champ. Thanks for all of your input and help.

 

I got my stuff from mktbully too and I can't wait to get it installed. It'll hopefully be this weekend if the weather cooperates.
