fuel/trunk release switch removal

hey guys can the fuel/trunk release switch be removed. an if yes can you point me in direction redoing interior an its in way

Im too lazy to search and link it right now. But go to the DIY thread at the top of the forum and its in the thread about dash removal I think.

sorry not in there i have already completely removed dash i am now trying to remove the fuel trunk relase switch (the one you put your key in)
