It was really cool, i was a little nervous....i didnt want to offend any of them so i didnt get to close with taking the pics but later on after i left i learned that it would have been ok. Im taking a japanese lang class so that next year i can get a little more crazy with the pics and get a ride.
It was funny that i was there for the GTR meet and spent 95% of my time at the 1Jz meet. There are a couple cool things that i havent seen anyone run and ill get better pics of them next year. Allot of them run the cooling rescue system which allows more airflow into the radiator as well as any cooling mod you can think of.
The pics dont show it but every single 1jz/2j was set-up the same way cooling wise. Catch cans and oil filter relocation kits.

This is perfect timing to remind all of ClebLexus of the fallen soldiers today since you showed the support of the US Air Force from abroad. I still serve proudly in the Air Force today. Thanks for the pictures of the meet. Makes me want my 1JZ up and running more.
Thanks for sharing and those are nice cars.. thumbs up!!!

They run the anime on everything, on the windows and all. If i hadnt been so hung over from partying in roppongi then i would have taken more pics, i got some video too but im not good at editing. The base was awesome and of course tokyo was amazing. I was supposed to go to autosalon and meet up with the guys from the GTR UK forums for a VIP trip to all the shops but i will be out of country.
I was trying to find out if any forums from the states have a setup like they do, supraforums, clublexus etc.
They have a pretty sweet setup, where a group of them fly over and members only get VIP access to visit with Mines, Top Secret, HKS, Garage Saurus and places like that. Even though im getting a 32 to bring back im still a 1/2jz lexus/toyo man at heart so i would rather chill with my own kind. I will still get another sc when i get back and my wife wants an older gs3.
I'm going to Super Autobachs so i will take more pictures for you guys and im always on the hunt for lexus/toyo cars to shoot, there are lots of crowns and chasers running around.

Plane tickets are a bit pricey but you only live once, it would even cost me $400 to get down to tokyo by train, but i have bookmarked a couple places, Jun and a cool indoor go-kart track, TGIF. I may be interested in trying to plan something or at-least check on the info if there are people interested, but this would need to be done in advance to lock prices in.
You would kill 2 birds with one stone bc i believe they do it every year at the same time as GTR fest.
